Premise Voice over IP Solutions
A premise-based VoIP solution is the typical strategy of buying of an IP-based PBX and all related phones, hardware and software.  It offers all the typical VoIP benefits, plus complete ownership/control of VoIP services and allows the best potential integration with your onsite systems. 

Hosted Voice over IP Solutions
A hosted VoIP solutions is a buying strategy aimed at providing the VoIP benefits in a cheaper and easier way to smaller businesses.  In a hosted strategy, a VoIP provider owns a large IP PBX and gives you access to its intelligence for a monthly fee.  The smaller organization then only needs to purchase phones and limited hardware/software, thus greatly lowering the initial cost of VoIP.  While this allows smaller firms the ability to get real VoIP benefits today, you may have slightly fewer integration or configuration options.  Check with your Fulcrum Account Manager for more details.

Telecom and Internet Services
A VoIP solution needs telecom and Internet services to be complete.  The Fulcrum Group represents Telecom and Internet Service Providers such as Covad, Smoothstone, Time Warner, and Qwest.  Services provided include TDM and SIP trunking, MPLS private WAN, and Integrated T-1s.
